This section of Andrews Antiquaria highlights a wide-ranging assortment of unique collectibles, including Hollywood still-shot promotional images, candid celebrity photographs, vintage household items from the days of yesteryear, and even an eclectic collection of footwear. In short, this is where you’ll find the off‑the‑beaten‑path treasures that don’t quite fit into the traditional categories of the Antiquaria.
These are the semi-hidden curiosities — the pieces that have quietly gathered dust for decades, waiting for someone with an adventurous spirit to rediscover them. And let’s be honest: most people secretly love exploring the anomalies of life more than the steady humdrum. There’s something irresistible about stumbling upon the unexpected.
So enjoy your adventure through this collection of delightful oddities. You never know what you might find!

Converse versus PRO-Keds

Side Note: My very first pair of sneakers resembled these red PRO-Keds. However, who could afford Converse or PRO-Keds? Instead, most parents bought 'skips' for their kids which were somewhat similar to the pricey Cons and Keds but at a fraction of the cost. In fact, among peers, the bully word on the street was that any kid not wearing Converse or PRO-Keds was wearing nothing other than skips. That's my brother and me with our...skips.
